Ronald B. Salupo
Ronald B. Salupo is co-founder of CFA and serves as President
/ CEO. He brings extensive finance and accounting experience from over
forty years as a Certified Public Accountant and has a proven track record
providing management consulting and business intermediary
services.
Mr. Salupo began his career with the international accounting
firm of Ernst & Young (formerly Ernst & Ernst). As Audit Supervisor,
his duties included performing and supervising certified audits, preparing
corporate income tax returns and reviewing systems of internal control
and accounting procedures for medium to large-size business clients.
In 1973, Mr. Salupo formed the Certified Public Accounting
firm of Salupo & Associates, Inc. where he still serves as President on
a limited basis since the sale of the business and most accounts to the
regional accounting firm S. R. Snodgrass in 2005. Mr. Salupo has
remained a consultant to S. R. Snodgrass but most of his time is spent
on CFA activities.
Mr. Salupo holds a B.B.A. degree from Fenn College (Cleveland State
University) and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the
state of Ohio. He has prepared numerous business valuations,
and has assisted hundreds of clients in the purchase and sale
of businesses over the years.
Jason L. Robinett
Jason L. Robinett joined CFA in 2009 and serves as Vice
President. Prior to joining
CFA, Mr. Robinett was the owner and President of The Apex Group, a business
brokerage and intermediary firm located in Northeast Ohio. He brings
experience working with both buyers and sellers across various industries
with a concentration in the Health Information Management (HIM) services
space.
Prior to his intermediary firm, Mr. Robinett owned several other businesses
including a Medical Transcription company that he sold to a leading
national provider of HIM consulting, medical transcription, and medical
coding services. He also was an Account Executive for AT&T selling
data, voice and video network services and hardware to large business
accounts.
Mr. Robinett serves as a board member of CDI, a non-profit organization
that offers business advisory services to entrepreneurs and businesses
of all stages and sizes. He enjoys volunteering with several youth education
and health organizations as well as with organizations that support
and stimulate entrepreneurial activities.
Mr. Robinett attended The Ohio State University and is a member of
the Ohio Business Brokers Association.
Sharon L. Salupo
Sharon L. Salupo (Ron's daughter) joined CFA in June, 2009 where she
currently serves as Vice President. Ms. Salupo began her career
in the accounting profession and worked as an accountant and business
advisor for 15 years with the Certified Public Accounting firm of Salupo
& Associates, Inc. Her duties included preparing client
financial statements and tax returns and providing business advisory
services for many small and mid-sized businesses. She was also responsible
for all internal firm billings, accounting and office management matters,
which she continues to handle for the CPA firm and CFA.
Ms. Salupo graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kent State
University and is currently working to become a Licensed Professional
Real Estate Salesperson from Hondros College in accordance with the
requirements set forth by the Ohio Division of Real Estate.
